The collection of Laurie Christman's early piano works for solo piano interpreted evocatively by Ayke Agus, noted concert pianist and longtime accompanist to Jascha Heifetz. This collection carries a wide range of classical piano styles from lyrical, romantic to powerful. Ayke Agus
Known as the last accompanist for world renowned violinist Jascha Heifetz during the final years of his stellar career. Born in Indonesia, Ayke came to the United States and earned a Master’s Degree in music performance from the University of Southern California and taught piano at USC for 10 years. She regularly participates in chamber music festivals in the USA. Her annual concert tours through Europe and Asia always earn her reviews with the highest praise. She is well known for her recordings on Protone Records including “Musical Moments of Jascha Heifetz,” a piano solo disc and “Ayke Agus Doubles,” on which she accompanies herself.
